Tudor Hall is one of the oldest girls’ boarding schools in the UK. Situated in beautiful Oxfordshire parkland, it provides an outstanding and rounded education for girls from 11-18.
Tudor Hall is a full boarding school, with approximately 75% boarders and 25% day girls. Our boarders come from all over the UK thanks to our full boarding ethos.
Tudor’s motto, Habeo ut dem (I have that I may give), underpins everything we do. Every girl has personal qualities which make her unique. A Tudor Hall education offers a wide variety of opportunities to help identify what it is they have; supporting them to develop these skills and qualities is part of the magic of Tudor.
With 300 girls on roll, Tudor Hall is a small school, but one which punches above its weight. From a broad range of starting points, Tudorians achieve excellent academic outcomes in and progress to a range of highly-regarded universities including Oxford and Cambridge. We believe that the academic curriculum goes hand in hand with the co-curriculum and, with over 150 clubs and activities offered every week, girls develop the personal skills that will set them apart when they leave school.
We understand that every girl who joins Tudor Hall begins her journey from a unique starting point. Teamwork, creativity, leadership and resilience are embedded into lessons, ensuring that pupils’ learning experience is well-rounded and equips them with both academic qualifications and key life skills. Class sizes are small, allowing teachers to support all pupils in reaching their academic and personal potential.
Underpinning much of what we do at Tudor is our school motto, ‘Habeo ut Dem’ (I have that I may give). Girls give back to the school and wider community in endless ways from fundraising to outreach work.
