Plymouth College is a co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged between 3 – 18 years.

We are a non-selective school, although all applicants for the Senior School are asked to sit an entrance test in English and Mathematics for setting purposes.

At Plymouth College, we believe our purpose is to educate, enrich and empower every single one of our pupils in an environment that is intellectually and emotionally stimulating, progressive and adventurous. Exceptional teaching and support in small classes helps to ensure that every pupil fulfils their academic and intellectual potential.

Beyond the classroom, the personal development of our children is at the heart of everything we do. Our pastoral care and wellbeing education are second-to-none and, through our wonderfully enriching programme of co-curricular activities, pupils learn to develop qualities, such as:

  • resilience
  • humility
  • compassion

and skills, such as:

  • leadership
  • communication
  • team-working

We hope that our website will give you a good introduction to Plymouth College and that it will encourage you to visit the school – so that you can fully appreciate all that we have to offer.
