Refined over 400 years in the heart of the inspirational Wye Valley, Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools educate boarding and day girls and boys aged 3 to 18 through a diamond-shaped combination of single-sex and co-educational environments at the optimum stages of their academic and personal development. We recognise talent and nurture excellence, providing the best possible springboard for a pupil’s future. Parents can feel confident as their children join a legacy of excellence in education that is renowned both nationally and internationally.
Our respected Combined Cadet Force (Army and RAF) fosters the qualities of endurance, resourcefulness, self-reliance, leadership, responsibility and a sense of public service. Members of staff from our schools are commissioned officers and take lessons alongside instructors from the regular or territorial forces. We are proud that Edward, one of our bright and upcoming young leaders in our thriving CCF, has been appointed to the role of Lord-Lieutenant Cadet. Edward was recognised by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gwent, Brigadier Robert Aitken CBE, and will attend events with the Brigadier, who acts as the Queen’s representative. Edward is hoping to join the Army post-degree or direct his efforts immediately at Sandhurst or the Royal Marines.
