Fyling Hall School is a small and friendly independent school situated in the North York Moors National Park, overlooking the picturesque coastline of Robin Hood’s Bay, near Whitby, North Yorkshire. Our independent school is a Georgian manor house with fantastic grounds for children to explore and enjoy. School ponies graze in the school fields, meals are freshly prepared from local produce and each of our pupils is known and valued. Since our foundation in 1923, we have welcomed pupils of all abilities, confident that good teaching in our family-like community gives every child the best possible chance to excel. We offer affordable excellence in education for our pupils whether day or boarding pupils.
We are very proud of our school. Our community of staff and pupils create the family atmosphere and make the school what it is. We welcome pupils of all abilities and offer excellent teaching (recently finishing 9thin the National Small Schools’ A-Level results table) and high-quality pastoral care with many opportunities to take part in a variety of activities.
