Brookes is an inclusive day and boarding school which provides a continuity of education from 2-16. Our small school has a family feel where children are encouraged to discover their own potential. We are set just outside the historic city of Bury St Edmunds in a large green campus that gives plenty of space for the children including an enviable forest school.
Watching the growing confidence of our children flourish within a kind stimulating community makes me very proud of the ethos we have nurtured at Brookes. From our Montessori Early Years where independent learning is encouraged through activities and play, to the personal guidance that lower school pupils receive. The high quality of teaching at Brookes offers a balance between creative arts, sports, science and humanities which enables students to embrace their futures.
We offer a warm welcome to those who come to join us, a diverse community with a truly global outlook.
Brookes UK offers day schooling from 2-16 years and boarding from 7-16 years. We offer a great range of activities and opportunities;
But don’t just take our word for it!
‘They were always friendly and they made me feel at home from the first moment, I’m really grateful to have them. The Brookes family is full of respect, companionship and happiness, it is an experience I would love to repeat’

“Our daughter studied for her IGCSE’s at Brookes UK she was well supported and achieved high grades. Brookes UK specialises in supporting children’s well-being and this is a clear focus alongside their academic studies. Highly recommend anyone who is looking for a school where children are happy, well mannered, inclusive environment and a family feel school”.
