Ashville College is a co-educational day and boarding school for children aged 3-18. Founded in 1877, Ashville has a proud past, and an even brighter future, yet our ethos and values remain loyal to our Methodist traditions, where each child is known and nurtured within a caring, safe and supportive environment.

Head's Welcome

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Ashville College and to our school community. Today’s world is a challenging one and the opportunity for a school to provide a pupil experience that inspires, motivates and above all supports and nurtures has never been more important.

Underpinning all that we do are our core Methodist Values; a set of guiding principles which equip our young people to take responsibility with kindness, compassion and an open, fair-minded outlook, so that they can make a difference in the communities in which they live and work.

At Ashville we are committed to an inclusive education, where individuals are valued wherever their talents lie, and this is at the heart of all we do. Our goal is to enable and empower our young people to thrive and realise their own unique potential by creating an environment that ignites curiosity, embraces bright ideas, fosters creativity and values challenge not as something to fear, but as the ultimate learning device.

Our passionate and caring staff work hard to support every child in our care. We nurture, inspire and guide our pupils, to help them discover what makes them tick and how to reach their full potential. This is where we, as a College community, are headed; we are creating an outstanding school for our pupils.

We continue to develop Ashville as a centre of excellence in education and ultimately provide a truly inspiring learning environment, where all can achieve our vision of becoming ‘better versions of ourselves’.
